1. About this policy

This policy applies to every course, pathway and online programme booked with Pink Aura Aesthetics Academy ("we", "us"), Clonard House, Market Square, Navan, Co. Meath. Our courses are professional training for practitioners. When you complete a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this policy.

2. Booking and payment

  • Your place is confirmed only when payment has been received in full and you have received our confirmation email.
  • Every course is strictly limited to six delegates. Places are allocated in order of payment and cannot be held without payment.
  • Where a payment plan is offered, every instalment must be paid before the course date. If an instalment is missed, we may release your place, and the booking is treated as a cancellation by you under section 5.
  • Prices are in euro and include the training, the items listed on the course page, and your certificate on successful completion.

3. Entry requirements

  • Each course page lists its entry requirements. By booking, you confirm that you meet them.
  • We may ask for evidence before the course, such as your professional registration, qualifications or previous certificates. Please send it when asked.
  • If you do not meet the entry requirements, or cannot provide evidence, we may decline or cancel your booking. This is treated as a cancellation by you under section 5, so please check before you book. If you are unsure whether a course is right for you, email us first and we will advise you.

4. Online learning and course materials

  • For in-person courses, your online pre-course learning is released as soon as you book, so you arrive prepared.
  • By booking, you ask us to give you immediate access to digital content, and you acknowledge that once access has been given you lose any statutory right to cancel the digital content part of your purchase.
  • Online-only courses are non-refundable once access has been given.
  • Course materials are for your personal use only. They must not be shared, copied, recorded or resold.

5. Cancelling your place

To cancel, email [email protected]. Your cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your email.

  • More than 48 hours before the course starts: 50% of the amount you paid is retained. The other 50% is refunded to your original payment method within 14 days. If you paid with a discount code, the 50% is calculated on the discounted amount you actually paid, not the full course price.
  • Within 48 hours of the start time, or if you do not attend: no refund is given.

The retained amount covers costs that begin as soon as you book: one of only six places held for you, live models arranged, products and kits prepared, and your online learning released.

6. Transfers and substitutions

  • Changing your date: you may transfer to another date of the same course once, if you ask in writing at least 14 days before your course starts. The new date must be within six months and is subject to availability. If the new date costs more, you pay the difference.
  • Transfer requests made fewer than 14 days before the course are treated as a cancellation under section 5.
  • A transferred booking cannot be transferred a second time. If you later cancel it, section 5 applies.
  • Sending someone in your place: you may pass your place to another practitioner who meets the entry requirements, free of charge, if you tell us at least 7 days before the course.

7. If we cancel or change a course

  • We rarely cancel. If we have to, for example because of trainer illness, an emergency, low numbers or circumstances outside our control, we will tell you as soon as possible and you can choose a full refund or a free transfer to another date.
  • We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you have arranged, so we recommend booking flexible or refundable travel.
  • We may need to make small changes to timings, the trainer or the venue. We will always tell you in advance.

8. On the day

  • Courses run 10:00–18:00 unless the course page or your joining instructions say otherwise. Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring photo ID.
  • If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you may not be able to join the practical session. Missed time is not refunded or repeated.
  • Leaving early, or choosing not to complete the course, is not grounds for a refund.

9. Live models

  • We arrange live models for practical training. Models are members of the public and can occasionally cancel at short notice.
  • If a model cancels, we will provide a replacement where possible, or an alternative such as practice on a training aid, a further demonstration, or a place on a later practical session. A model cancellation is not grounds for a refund.
  • Every model is assessed before treatment, and the trainer may decline to treat a model for clinical safety reasons.

10. Safety, assessment and certification

  • Client safety comes first, and the trainer's decision on clinical safety is final.
  • We may stop you treating if your practice is unsafe, if you are unwell or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if your behaviour is inappropriate, or if you do not meet the entry requirements. No refund is given in these cases.
  • Your certificate is issued when you have completed the course and passed its assessments, including any online assessment or case study. If you are not yet competent, we will explain what you need to do. Further supervised practice may carry a fee.
  • A certificate confirms the training you have completed. It does not by itself authorise you to practise. You are responsible for your own insurance, professional registration, prescribing arrangements, and compliance with Irish law and the requirements of your regulator.

11. Kits and products

  • Where a kit is included, it is issued on the course day and is yours to keep. Kits are non-refundable once issued.
  • Please check your kit on the day and tell us within 48 hours if anything is missing or faulty.

12. Photos and your information

  • We may take photos during training for your training record. We will always ask before you appear in any marketing.
  • Please do not photograph or record models, other delegates or course materials without permission.
  • We use your personal information only to manage your booking, training records and certification, in line with GDPR. Email us to see or delete the information we hold about you.

  • Nothing in this policy limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fee you paid for the course.
  • We are not responsible for personal belongings brought to the course.
