Complications Management & Medical Emergencies
An advanced, anatomy-led course covering complications across HA and non-HA fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, PRP and every needle-based treatment, plus the medical emergencies every practitioner must be ready for. Hands-on facial ultrasound with Clarius lets you see the product, the vessel and the tissue plane beneath the skin.
What the course will cover
- Facial anatomy and danger zones, layer by layer
- Vascular occlusion with HA and non-HA products: early recognition and emergency response
- Visual disturbance: red flags and urgent escalation pathways
- Lumps, nodules and delayed reactions, including biofilm, granulomas and the Tyndall effect
- Non-HA fillers (CaHA, PLLA, PCL): how their complications differ and how they are managed
- Facial ultrasound: identifying product type, depth and location, and vascular mapping
- Anaphylaxis, collapse, CPR and other medical emergencies
- Emergency kits, documentation, consent and medicolegal considerations
- Live emergency simulations and real case studies
Who it's for: doctors, dentists, nurses and non-medical injectors, with clear guidance on what is within your scope at every step. A prescriber will be on site for the practical training day.
