MY STORY
From Nursing to Aesthetic Medicine
I didn't start out in aesthetics. I started out as a Registered Nurse, the kind of career where you learn fast that shortcuts cost people. You learn anatomy properly. You learn how to manage risk, how to read a patient, and how to stay calm when something doesn't go to plan. That foundation shapes everything I do today.
My aesthetics career grew step by step, from lashes and brows to injectables, biostimulators and advanced skin regeneration. Along the way I trained in biostimulators with Dr Michelle Westwood and completed further training with Cosmed. Now I'm completing an MSc in Aesthetic Medicine, because I want more than a weekend certificate can offer: the science, the anatomy, the products and the why behind every technique.
Pink Aura Aesthetics Academy started because I saw a gap. Too many practitioners were being taught technique without being taught understanding. So I built something different: training that produces confident, safe and genuinely skilled practitioners.
